Grady is a postdoctoral scholar at the Development Innovation Lab focusing on AI and firm productivity in low- and middle-income countries. Grady completed his PhD in economics from UC Berkeley in 2026. His research focuses on the industrial organization of firms in LMICs, household financial decisions, and the long-run and general equilibrium effects of cash transfers. Grady will join the Kenneth C Griffin Department of Economics at the University of Chicago as an Assistant Professor in 2027.
