Emmanuel Murray Leclair is a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Market Shaping Accelerator, working on climate related innovations. His research focuses on firm behavior in the face of environmental regulation. He is currently stuyding the role of fuel substitution as part of firms’ cost of abatement, carbon leakage induced by the spatial reorganization of markets, and the organization of pipeline networks. He completed his PhD in economics from the University of Western Ontario in 2024 and will be starting as an assistant professor at the University of Melbourne in 2025.
