When can I expect to hear back after I’ve applied to a role?
Due to the high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for next steps. However, we strive to contact all applicants to notify them whether they will proceed in the hiring process.
What reference information do I need to provide at the time of application? We require that all applicants submit the names, titles, and contact information of three professional references, including your current (or most recent) supervisor.

Do DIL positions support work authorization?
The University of Chicago has the ability to support work authorization when specific conditions are met. Exact confirmation will be determined based on individual candidate information and the job profile. This assessment will be conducted at the end of the hiring process.
